Converting from RichEditor to RichEditor2

RichEditor2 is currently an opt-in beta on CEO 2.2 and above. It will become the standard editor in a future release.

Administrators can opt into the beta by enabling the RichEditor2 Beta Safe Mode option in Settings.

With the beta enabled, all new content will automatically feature the new editor.

Content created previous to enabling the editor beta will continue to use CEO's default text editor. Users can choose to convert existing content to RichEditor2 by clicking the Convert To RichEditor2 button below the existing editor interface:

NOTE: Existing editorial comments are not compatible with the new resolvable editorial comment format in RichEditor2. Converting an existing content item will result in loss of all editorial comments. All other formatting, including links, CQs, embeds and media will be converted.
